Transferring your domain to Venimo

Request your transfer code
Your current provider gives you a transfer code (also called an EPP or authorisation code). For .nl this is a token from SIDN.

Order the transfer
Search for your domain above with the "Transfer existing domain" option and enter the code at checkout.

Questions about domain names
How long does it take before my domain is active?
Most domains (.nl, .com, .org) are active within a few minutes to an hour. DNS propagation can take up to 24-48 hours before your domain is reachable worldwide. You can usually visit your website within an hour of registration.
Can I transfer my domain to Venimo?
Yes, you can easily transfer your domain to Venimo. The process differs per domain type:
.nl domains: free transfer via SIDN, usually within 1 day
International domains: transfer with an EPP/auth code, 5-7 days
Email and DNS: keep working during the transfer

What happens if I forget to renew my domain?
We send a renewal invoice 14 days before the end of the period and a reminder 3 days before. If auto-renewal is on and the invoice is paid, your domain simply continues.
If a domain does expire, it can often still be restored for some time, depending on the extension; sometimes at extra cost. After that the domain may become available for registration by others. If in doubt, contact support right away.
Do I get free email addresses with my domain?
Every hosting plan includes email addresses on your own domain (e.g. info@yourdomain.com). The plan comparison shows how many email accounts each plan includes.
You can use your email via webmail, Outlook, Apple Mail and other email programs, with spam filtering and virus scanning.
